Inside Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday, the Seminoles won easily over Wake Forest with a final score of 31-0. The FSU offense struggled early with a fumble on the first possession and scored only 10 points in the first half. However, Ponder and the rest of the offense got on track and managed to rack up 485 total yards, including 284 on the ground.
The defense stole the show and managed to record a shutout for the first time in 2 years. The defense for Florida State recorded 6 sacks and allowed only 185 total yards. After struggling against Oklahoma in week 2, this Seminole's defense has looked much improved from last season. The team now hits the road for away games at Virginia and at Miami. The next home game will be October 16th versus Boston College.
