Wake Forest Preview

Good afternoon FSU fans,

This saturday the Seminoles (2-1) host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (2-1,1-0). Wake Forest is 1-0 in ACC play as they defeated Duke 54-48 in week 2 of the season. However, Wake Forest is comming off a bad loss to Standford last week (68-24). FSU on the other hand, is comming off a strong performance against BYU, a game in which FSU's defense recorded 8 sacks.

Wake Forest hasn't lost inside Doak Campbell Stadium since 2005. This includes a 30-0 victory in 2006 by Wake Forest and then a 12-3 victory in 2008.

For FSU to change things around at home against the Demon Deacons, their defense will need to play more like they did against BYU and pressure the quaterback. The Seminoles offense will need to run the football like they did last week and control the clock.

According to Aaron Carter of the Orlando Sentinel,Ponder is dealing with triceps contusion so he has been limited in practice this week. E.J Manuel has many taking some snaps with the 1st team offense this week at practice. Left tackle Andrew Datko has been suffering from a shoulder injury and he'll be out for the game. Despite these injuries, I don't expect any of them to affect FSU's chances of defeating Wake Forest
